Our Vision
The vision of the CCUMC Merge Youth Ministry is to create spiritually mature teens who love Jesus Christ and desire to reproduce that love for Christ in the lives of their peers.
We will accomplish our vision through relationships. Relationships are the key to helping teens connect with God, grow in Christ and reach their spiritual potential. All of our activities and events focus on building and fostering healthy, positive relationships. Whether playing gaga ball, going to a camp, serving on a mission trip or going to support a teen in a sport or concert, the focus is to build relationships with teens to we can then share a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Sunday School
Youth Sunday School offers a supportive community where people can grow in their faith, knowledge of the Bible, and love of God. We believe that Sunday School for Youth helps to form men and women as Christian disciples by studying scripture, sharing fellowship with other believers, caring for and nurturing class members, and serving those in need. Visitors are always welcome.

Children & Youth Clearances
CCUMC has established minimum standards for our ministries with children and youth. Our purpose for establishing these “Safe Sanctuaries” Policies and Procedures is to demonstrate our absolute and unwavering commitment to the physical safety and spiritual growth of all our children and youth.
To ensure “Safe Sanctuaries” at CCUMC, all employees and volunteers working with children and youth at CCUMC will be expected to obtain the required clearances and complete the online training course through the Ministry Safe program. The clearances and online training are good for five years.
If you are interested in volunteering or find yourself working with children or youth at CCUMC and are unsure if you have the appropriate clearances or have any questions, please contact Sabrina Sickle, CCUMC Safe Sanctuary Coordinator at 570-898-5957 or email ccumcministrysafe@gmail.com.
